Professor Danny Dring Returns to Força 

We’re proud to announce that Professor Danny Dring will be returning to Força Martial Arts on Saturday, July 12, 2025, for a special two-hour seminar titled “Wrist Locks from Everywhere.” The seminar will run from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Cost is $50. 

A Lifetime of Martial Arts and Law Enforcement Experience 

Professor Dring is a legend in Arkansas martial arts and one of our longtime instructors. He was the first person promoted to black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the state of Arkansas and currently holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in BJJ. He is the founder of Team LDMA (Living Defense Martial Arts) and has been training and coaching for decades across multiple martial arts disciplines. 

In addition to his BJJ credentials, Professor Dring holds the following ranks and certifications: 

• 9th Degree Black Belt – Superfoot System 

• 9th Degree Black Belt – Tae Kwon Do 

• 8th Degree Black Belt – Joe Lewis Fighting Systems 

• 7th Degree Black Belt – Weeping Style Jujutsu 

• Black Belt – Shōrin-ryū Karate 

• 33+ Years in Law Enforcement 

• Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor 

• ASP Baton Instructor 

• Arkansas State Police Concealed Handgun Instructor 

We’ve had the privilege of training under Mr. Dring since 2006, and every time he visits our academy, he brings high-level detail, real-world application, and decades of practical insight from his years in the martial arts and law enforcement. Whether you're a black belt or a white belt just starting your journey, this seminar will offer concepts and details that can impact your game immediately.
