What to Expect:

This Rank Review will focus on the techniques we’ve been developing over the past six months in BJJ classes and seminars. Our curriculum during this period has emphasized:

• Attacking from the guard

• Offensive strategies from side control, mount, and back control

• Key techniques from the recent Chris Burns seminar, including knee-on-belly escapes and back control escapes

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their progress, ask questions, and refine their understanding of key techniques. Several students receiving promotions will also be sharing techniques with the class, offering insights from their years of training.

A Special Promotion – Justin Myrick’s Black Belt Ceremony

This event is particularly special as we will be promoting longtime student Justin Myrick to the rank of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt! Justin has dedicated years to mastering his craft, demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline, and commitment to the art of BJJ. His promotion will take place at the beginning of the event, followed by additional rank promotions at the conclusion of the session.
