Why We Hold Rank Reviews

At Força Martial Arts & Fitness, rank isn’t just about the belt you wear — it’s about dedication, growth, and the countless hours invested on the mats. Twice a year, we pause to reflect on that progress and recognize the milestones our students have reached through training, perseverance, and community.

Our next Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Rank Review will be held on Thursday, November 30th from 6:00–8:30pm. Coach Brian Wilson will lead this event, guiding students through demonstrations of skill, knowledge, and application as we review our last six months of progress. The rank review is a chance for students to showcase how far they’ve come, and for teammates, families, and instructors to celebrate their achievements.

We’re also honored to welcome back Coach Danny Dring, 5th Degree Black Belt, as a special guest and figurehead for the evening. Professor Dring has long been a cornerstone in the growth of Jiu-Jitsu in Arkansas and beyond. His presence at our reviews reflects the high standards of excellence we strive for as a team and offers inspiration to all of our students.

Rank Reviews are more than just promotions — they are affirmations of the journey. Each test is a reminder that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is built on persistence, humility, and teamwork. Every student stepping onto the mats represents not only their own growth but the strength of the Força community.
