Framework for Força’s proven martial arts curriculum was built for all experience levels and schedules. We offer an Adult Mixed Martial Arts program that includes classes for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or previous experience.  Our adult schedule caters to a wide variety of students, including beginners seeking self-defense skills, aspiring amateur and professional competitors, and those looking for a fun and exciting new hobby or way to stay in great shape!

Mixed Martial Arts


Our proven Mixed Martial Arts program can turn anyone, regardless of age, gender or experience level into a top-notch mixed martial artist.  Our expert staff will teach you the most effective phases and applications of stand-up and ground fighting techniques. Our MMA program is designed to take even the most inexperienced martial arts student and equip them with the necessary tools for self-defense, fitness, hobby or sport.  Our students will learn a variety of different styles including Kickboxing, Submission Grappling, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Wrestling.

Russellville Kickboxing Classes


Forca’s Kickboxing program is influenced by a variety of martial arts styles and systems, such as Olympic style boxing, muay Thai, American kickboxing, and other traditional striking styles like savate, karate and tae-kwon-do. This program is designed to help you gain an understanding of your base stance, footwork, and head movement and also includes fun and unique exercises geared toward self-defense tactics using kicks, punches, knees and elbows, clinches, and open hand strikes.  This program is an excellent fit for a hobbyist seeking an outlet to get in better shape and learn self-defense, as well as for the competitor seeking to compete in boxing, kickboxing, or mixed martial arts.

Each class involves a warm-up routine, heavy bag drills, and partner drills on targets, which will help you build a flow of combinations and an economy of motion to protect yourself while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency. Every drill and round is designed to meet the goals and abilities of every member so that students can push themselves to new limits with each class.

Submission Grappling


Our grappling program is based on a variety of martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling and Sambo.  This program will help you learn to defend yourself against takedowns, positions, and submissions and will also help you develop an overall understanding of positional control and ground-based self-defense techniques.

This program is great for self-defense, fitness, or sport. Each session will focus on developing good posture, establishing a solid base stance, and understanding the core body movements that are utilized during the warm-up, drilling, and rolling portions of the class. Our rotational curriculum allows for the progressive development of each individual from beginner student with 6 months or less training to the advanced student with prior experience in freestyle wresting or other martial arts styles.

Boxing


Our boxing program is a part of our 501c3 non-profit community outreach programs offered at Força Martial Arts in Russellville.  The Russellville Police Boxing Club has been serving the River Valley area since 1997 and is available for local teens and adults ages 13-40. This is a great class for anyone interested in competing in Olympic style boxing or learning the sport of boxing for confidence, discipline or self-defense.  Led by world-class coaches, our boxing club competes in club shows and tournaments throughout the state.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defense based martial art and modern sport, which subscribes to the theory that through the proper and efficient application of leverage and technique, a smaller or weaker person can defeat a larger opponent.

Each class is focused on gaining an understanding of posture, positioning, core movements, joint locking and choking techniques, takedowns, and throws, as well as a variety of body movements and techniques from standing and grounded positions.

Forca Martial Arts offers you a complete Jiu-Jitsu program with experienced instruction and coaching for beginners and new students, as well as competition athletes.  There are additional training opportunities offered through our Grappling and Judo programs as well.  The adult schedule currently offers classes in our Jiu-Jitsu program up to three times per day.

Our program incorporates excellent technique, live rolling, competition training, and fitness. If your goal is to get in shape, learn self-defense, or compete in tournaments, our Jiu-Jitsu program is definitely for you!
